I have a question, who do I contact?

If you have a question about a particular shipment, pleace contact the dyer responsible for that month's shipment. Links to their pages can be found on the Member Sites page. If you aren't sure who the appropriate dyer is, email us at info@fiberbaristas.com and we'll let you know who it is!

If the question has to do with an existing order, please send an email to orders@fiberbaristas.com. Please be sure to include your name, contact and order number.

Shipping

For Clubs, shipping is included in the membership price. Packages are generally shipped via First Class Post or USPS Priority Mail. Check the club's product page to determine when the package for that month is expected to ship.

For Non-Club items, shipping may or may not be included. Check the listing for details.

Shipping Outside the US

International Shipping (non-US) is handled on a per club basis.

Let's say a club has all dyers in the US, then there might be an International Shipping rate to countries outside the US and Canada. BUT, let's say all of the Dyers are outside the US, now there's an "International Shipping" rate for packages shipped to the US. When there's a relatively even split, we will just have a flat shipping rate world-wide since everyone's sending something overseas. Make sense? If not, don't worry, just check the "Additional Information" section before you join a club. It'll be in there.

Payment

You can pay online using Visa, MasterCard, or Discover using the checkout button. Note that on your credit card statement it will say "Northwoods Dyeworks" for this transaction.

We're currently offering PayPal, as a courtesy to International Customers and those who wish to pay with an eCheck. If using PayPal you must ship to your Confirmed Address, no exceptions. Double Check the address before hitting the final confirm button! We can't be responsible for items that go to old PayPal addresses.

Can I buy stuff from the Individual Dyer too?

Heck yeah! All of our dyers will allow club members to ship items from their webstore at the same time as the club shipments go out. If you're ordering close to the club shipment date, you may want to contact the dyer to be sure it's okay. Most dyers will give a reduced shipping rate on store purchases that accompany club shipments. Links to an individual dyer's webstore can be found on the Member Sites page.

I really like my shipment, can I order more?

If you decide you need an extra skein or bump, after you have received your club package, check the product information page under "Additional Information." Most make extras, and will be more than willing to ship another one out, but there may be a time limit on how long you have to request one. The actual purchase will generally be made directly from the dyer. Links to an individual dyer's webstore can be found on the Member Sites page.

There's a problem with my shipment.

Uh Oh. First make sure you've waited long enough for it to arrive. Some of our packages ship from overseas, and those will take longer.

If you genuinely believe your package might be lost (sadly, it happens on rare occasions) don't freak out, just contact that month's dyer. We use delivery confirmation and may be able to find it. Either way, we're still going to make it right in the end.

Our Privacy Policy

We're not the sharing type. Any information collected about you or your purchases will be used for Fiber Barista business only. There's no way we're going share, sell, or distribute your info, it's one of the things our dyers agree to when they join our membership. You should not be getting emails from us that are not directly related to account creation, orders, or shipping. In the event that we add a Fiber Baristas mailing list, it will be opt-in only.

As a result, if you want to get put on a particular dyer's mailing list, you will need to visit their site and sign up. We don't automatically sign you up for anything.

This color sucks!

What?!? We try to not make ugly stuff, but individual tastes vary. Before you join a club, make sure you always read the fine print.

Our is: "The fine print about clubs: The biggest fun in joining a club is the surprise! We like to all pretend it never happens, but occasionally someone gets something they just don't like. If this ever happens to you, feel free to trade, re-gift, or maybe even try playing with something new and out of the norm! We won't get upset if you give it away, promise. Sorry, but we just can't take back club shipments because of color preferences."

If a shipment product is actually defective, contact that month's dyer immediately so we can fix it!

Whoa, the address in the navigation bar at top just got really long and weird when I tried to checkout!

Because we insist on protecting your private data, anytime you log in or checkout our site switches over to a secure server (you should see the little closed padlock in the lower corner of your browser window.) The "weird" url just means it's working. Since Fiber Baristas purchases are actually made from Northwoods Dyeworks, you'll see their security certificate at the top. Currently it should start with "https://secure24.nocdirect.com/~northwoo/dyeworks/baristacart/".... Anytime you're typing in a credit card number you want to see "https://" up top, and the padlock down below!

If you are running in high security mode you may get a warning that says, "this certificate is registered to..." if the address is "secure24.nocdirect.com" click okay. (at the moment it's a shared certificate.)
